In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird , and they take Prozac to make it normal.
I gave my wife some advice on how to keep me occupied when I'm senile and in the nursing home: Just give me boxes of nuts/bolt, electronic components, etc., and tell me to sort them out
I'll be happy as a lark
I got mine at the swap meet, the one I pointed at is a similar item.
Sorting is good therapy but, alas now I need a magnifier to achieve the final result................hmmm....................hope that doesn't translate over to searching for wood.

He has about 2,000 tubes he just got rid of some EL34's but, he may have more .
He has a bunch of other ones also. I gave him a list.
Said he has 6 or 8 tube testers but, they are vintage, old, nice condition, so he won't part with any.
Asked if he had any old iron around. NO
Oh well, will have to stay in touch in case things change.

There is a kinda famous one near here in Sunnyvale. Deep in Silicon Valley. Should be starting up in a couple of months. I haven't been for years. Last time I went there was a guy selling LEDs by the pound. Reds, yellows and greens, 20,30,40 ma mixed. Ever seen ten pounds of leds? Anyway, I bought a guarter pound for $5 I think. Still got 99.9% of them.
Nice scope dude.
