Ken

If your asking which schematic to use I would go with the A1b as I believe it is the closest to the original. There are only a couple of errors on that schematic. 1) the 10pf cap on the bright switch should be a 100pf and 2) the 470k bleeder resistor in the Powersupply was actuall 2 3w 100k ohm resistors in series.

Hope this helps!

I haven't built one yet, but going by Francesca, there are a couple of more diff's. It doesn't show the 3 diodes to ground from each of the power tubes (pin 3). Also, the "bias" should be connected to the junction of the 15k and 47k resistors, and not to the bias pot itself.

What I don't know, from the Francesca pics, are the values of the 3 Mallory Electrolytics underneath the 3 20uf ones. Most other schemos have them as 40uf, but A1b has them as 40, with two 160uf in series (making 80uf). However, each of the 160uf caps has a resistor in parallel, which don't seem to be in Francesca.

UR12, what did you use in your builds?

Thanks gearhead. I forgot about the bias connection and the diodes. I used 3 40uf 450v caps under the 20s. 2 of the 40s are in parallel for a total of 80uf.
