bias right cap value

what is the correct value for the cap for the bias in the amps without hrm,100 uf 100v?in the ods notes was written 47uf 160v but that amp had the el34 tubes.thanks for the help :?: devo :shock:

IMO anything at 47uF or higher is fine. I have a few 100uF 100V caps that I've used in several amps.

thanks Bob for your reply,with the 47 uf the amp seems to have more low mid with 100uf sounds more "fenderish",also the red knob has 100uf if i recall correctly,i d like to know what mr Dumble used in the late 80's... :wink:

For the bias supply I'd doubt if you'll hear a difference. It has nothing to do with signal.
