could I get anyone that has done this switch, for their OD amp w/relays, to send me a gut shot of the rewiring. i know the resistors have to go. This requires a 5 conductor wire. either XLR or DIn is fine
thanks ange

Re: three button foot switch from AE
The Bluesmaster schematic has it. He has it configured for three switches. I just finished an HRM build using this design, with relays for all three. So relay, switch on the chassis, and foot switch for Mid boost, OD, & PAB. Key is, I have a 12vdc transformer for the supply. Mine has 750ma, which is probably overkill, but now it is also driving a fan. Works great. Basically, grounding a switch completes the circuit and powers a relay. To use the foot switches, all chassis switches must be off. I used a "Marshall" replacement footswitch from AES because it was about the same price as buying parts and building one. I ended up using midi connectors because if the cable craps out, easy to replace without having to build or replace the cable. I think some older cables don't have all 5 wires, but I had plenty that did. Solid foot switch.
And no, the resistors stay. Well, you need to replace them with different values. As I understand it, resistor is important so you don't blow out LEDs.

He had many updates and versions, but the last version should be on the very first post. A very well documented project to say the least.
