I purchased a Weber PT and OT for a 5e3 tweed deluxe.
Then a friend suggested building a D-lite instead and using the
tone/drive circuit.
So, will the tranny's work for the d-lite 22 with 6V6's?
Especially that power tranny? It looks all wrong to me, but
I may be wrong.
If it won't fly, I'll go ahead and build the Tweed Deluxe, and
save the d-lite for later...but I really want to build the d-lite.
Thanks!

Re: Will this Power Transformer work?
Yes those will work....one of the first d'lite prototypes used weber deluxe iron...don't remember if it was tweed.
IIRC the PT was a little hot at around 460V on the plates.
The OT didn't have much low end and was a bit compressed, but the tone was in the ballpark.

Re: Will this Power Transformer work?
Thank you, brown!
Can you point me to the correct schematic to the voltages correct off the PT?
And, I do want good low end, I play kind of a scooped sound (EVH sort of),
which OT would you recommend on a tight budget?
The specific PT is the Weber 025130, international.
It lists on the secondary:
540V
680V @ 150ma
6.3 @ 5A
5V @ 3A
I GUESS I'm referring to the correct model I want to build...(there's so many!)...it is the one that has vol, treb, mid, bass...OD drive, OD level, master, and presence. (3) 12AX, 2x6V6. Looking for the 18-22 watt range.

Re: Will this Power Transformer work?
can 2 6l6's be used for these transformers or just the 6v6's
weber is using 2 6l6gc in his 6A20HP with these transformers

Re: Will this Power Transformer work?
Hello, paisley.
The tranny's I ordered for the 5E3 are listed to be usable with either the tweed deluxe 5e3, or the deluxe reverb.
I did enough hunting around in the last couple of days to find out that I have plenty of parts and pieces for the 5E3, I'm better off starting fresh for the d-lite project.
The d-lite 22/33 is designed to run either 6V6, or 6L6, with their trannys.
And, I saw (somewhere), that the original d-lite was based on either the vibrolux, or the deluxe reverb. Not real clear which one.

Re: Will this Power Transformer work?
ok since you did more homework than me . the layout that i got is with 1 channel no relays. what tubes is that layout setup for. is it all in the bias adjustment

Re: Will this Power Transformer work?
I believe the d-lite 22/33 has a switch for the bias.
There is a relay mod, I will link you up later when I get home.
I was trying to sort out the differences between the various d-lite
models...the 22/33 came out quite recently.
Edit:
Here's a link, lots of info there.
