Incoming!

Just looking for anyone who might have experienced this:

Usually within the first couple minutes of powering up my Express-ish type amp, I hear a sound that reminds of an incoming missile of sorts! It only lasts a few seconds and my guitar signal input has no effect on the "missile". It's of moderate volume, and it makes me wonder if there's a cap charging or discharging in a not-so-normal fashion for a few seconds. The amp seems fine for the most part, but does have a good buzz at high volumes.

If there's anyone with any insight, please let me know before I go guessing and checking!

I had a Koch Powertone that did the missile thing at shutdown. As I remember, ifI left the amp in standby a little longer it didn't happen.

Did you ever get a sense for which component was causing it?
