Liverpool Variant Clips

Post by dartanion »

Hey Guys,

I had my Liverpool out on loan to local artist Terry Hiatt (also my guitar tech) and he did some clips for me. Great guy. Great guitarist.

The BB Thing is a 355 and a Hiatt hand made spruce top solid body with PAF clones.

The ZZ Thing is a Hiatt strat and a Les Paul.

Jazzy Thing is the spruce top again.

All the guitar work is done through the Liverpool (various settings including the SE/PP control) through a Mesa 212 with AlNiCo Tubbies, close mic'd into a multi-track CD-RW machine.

Tell me what you think. Be honest now Wink

m4a is iTunes mpeg4 format

change extension to mp4 if you do not use iTunes.

These are not really mp3 files, they are mp4. TAG doesn't support mp4 as a file extension, so I changed them. You can edit the extension from mp3 to either mp4 or m4a (iTunes).

Ahh, that's why I couldn't play them.

Is that the two holer or the full meal deal? Sounds very good indeed.

This is the "FULL MEAL DEAL"!!!

The 2 holer is a lot more aggressive.

All I see is script when I click on the files, what's up with that? I'd really like to have a listen. Also what's the difference between the "Full Meal Deal" and the "Two Holer"? Thanks.

Hi Clyde,

I'm not sure what kind of script you are seeing, but you can just save the files to your machine and play from there. If needed, change the file extension from m4a to mp4.

What Skyboltone is referring to:

2 holer - My 18watt Liverpool variant
Full Meal Deal - 30watt Liverpool like the originals

Dart those sound killer. Terry is a great player; he did a bang up job setting up/adjusting my old telecaster...
