I get confused over these master volume things - I think what I ended up with was the PrePI Improved Bootstrapped version. You have to use something like this with the DC Powerscale from London Power or it gets fizzy sounding on the lower volumes.

This amp sounds really good - and by using both the MV and DCPS you can get a wider variety of distortion tones with it I think anwyay. That all being said I have another flavor of Liverpool that used to be an Express with the big blue Atom caps instead of Niks Orange home growns. I use that with my Hotplate and I like the setup that way - so basically its the best of both worlds - maybe someday I'll scale it but for right now I like them both as they are.
