Are those tubes in normal condition ?

Hi guys i bought a pair of sylvania 6ca7 tubes and to my surprise i recieved a rca tube and a sylvania one.

However the rca one has glass floating inside the tube despite having no crack would it work ?

the other issue i have is with the sylvania one. Despite looking legit, it has some parts which are burnt cut. it seems that it exploded due to poor use or due to overheat :

is this normal ?

i didn't test the tubes fearing it could damage the amp.

From the photo, I don’t see where the issues mentioned are?
I’m not a valve expert but the branding on a valve may not be the company that actually made it. So it may be that both your valves were made by Sylvania.
Does the design of the structures inside the valves look to be the same, or do they look different to each other?

I suggest to use a light bulb limiter when trying new / unknown output or rectifier valves in an amp for the first time.

This valves is not the one with the glass issue however it has those burnt ends tip which make me worry because single getter sylvania seem to be high polished rounded where mine is burnt cut seems like some overheating but i can't tell :

I suggest not to be concerned, my guess is that you may be seeing artefacts of the getter flashing deposition process.

The “glass” may be bits of mica from the spacers?
