SSS #004 Fan?

Does anyone know how the fan is connected in the SSS #004? Also is it pushing air into the cab or pulling it out? I was also wondering, why was the fan included in this model and not others ? TIA!

The fan is connected to the ac out that is on the left side of the back panel.
