there are a couple, try using head cab instead of 'shell'

I'll say though that the dimensions vary with the different chassis available. Also do you want it with or without a cross bar? I tend to do mine by eye now from the chassis dimensions. It's only a box so find the various layout s here and adjust accordingly.

Thanks again M, my chassis is 48,3 mm, a little shorter than in the pdf, but that's no problem. Do you make them yourself? And are you dovetailing?

Eyeballing from chassis dimensions here, as well. Well - not exactly, but measuring the chassis and take it from there. If you’re not a commercial building facility, then this typically works nicely - for me at least.

I do my own yes, in the garden with a few hand tools :D I use 18mm plywood and just screw and glue, then fill over the countersunk screws with body filler, sand ,route, paint inside then tolex//suede.

here's a suede second gen i did.

Totally great. That is amazing. Where did you get the metal bar? Or the tolex, suede? for that matter.

That amp looks great, M!

Mind if I ask where you got the chassis from? I'm looking for something similar, just without the word "Dumble" on it, for a future 2nd/3rd gen build with slider switches.

I got a couple from Amplified Nation and I've been very happy with them. Check the website for price and availability.

You got it! Taylor's chassis and boards are AAA+++ stuff!
I used them on my #183 build and have contacted him about building a combo cab for my upcoming #002 build.
I'm just keeping an eye out for a chassis with cutouts for a slider switch like this for a future build.

Matt

It came from the guy in Thailand, natchanis, who I think has now been closed down as I tried to get another and had no reply. I wanted a proper second gen looking chassis and this was all I could find. I'm not a fan of the silver 80's chassis for the 2nd gen amps, I like the sliders etc.

the bar is standard Aluminim 3/4 x 1/8 bar. You can find it anywhere. I get mine from an ebay supplier. The suede is pig suede I get from
Barkers' hide's in the UK, again through E bay.
