New Build in Progess: JM Sig 44 6V6

Post by ToneMerc »

Finally started on my variant of an ANWL aka TR JM Sig. This build will be quad 6V6 powered. The chassis prep is done, minus a hole near the PT for the main ground.

* Heyboer PT and choke
* Marvel/MCI reverb and output transformers
* Tungsol RI 6V6GT

The target B+ voltage is around 410-415 from 123V mains.

BTW, I didn't really want to post in the Dumble section. I personally would like to see a sub section of variants since TR's are not really pure Dumble circuits.

Did you get your chassis from Taylor? it looks a lot like the one I just bought from him. i'm planning a single-channel, 2 x KT66 with active EFX loop and Belton digital reverb. About 40-ish watts. I picked up an 8k OT from Rooster for the build. Looking forward to following your built.

Yes, maybe 3-4 years ago. Him posting his layout gave me an excuse to get it out the attic....lol
