I'm getting ready to tear into my Fender 30 this weekend, and I haven't decided if I want to build it with separate clean and overdrive channels, or a dumble and tweed channel with a common OD. If the delux still has the separate channels, it might push me over the fence that way. Your pictures will probably answer most of my questions, except - how does it sound?
Your dedication and willingness to share is much appreciated by us weekend amp nuts.

Re: dumble amps
Come on guys,
The OP came on here and asked if anyone knew how to get hold of him, the reasons why are irrelevant and none of anyone elses business. If someone has his email or phone number, just PM the original poster, job done.
I'm not being an arsehole, but when were any of us qualified to be judge and jury ?

Anyone call this number? I'm tempted to do it myself. I might call and pose as John Mayer and ask where he gets his goo and tube screamer components from. "I just found there's no such thing as the real world......" I can pull it off.drz400 wrote:He goes by Alexander, call him Howard and he will sit on you.fp2000 wrote:Funny and interesting, but doing a search on the verizon white pages there is only one listing in CA for a person named Howard A Dumble.

As available as it might be....
It just doesn't seem right to post it and almost encourage someone to bug the guy.

Ditto, just because you can find the white house's phone number on the phone book doesn't mean that you have to call just for the sake of it.
Please be serious about this matter. Just like we all (or at least most) hate telemarketers on the phone or knocking on our doors.
Sorry if I started the fire

Someone was asking for the info who sounded sincere, So what is the problem?FUCHSAUDIO wrote:It just doesn't seem right to post it and almost encourage someone to bug the guy.
I think JackDC was just kidding, I dont think anyone here is going to call just to give him a hard time. If Alexander did not want to be contacted he would be unlisted. This would be my guess is that this isnt really him anyway even though I do remember Sunland is correct. I also remember hearing that he recently moved from his haunted mansion looking house.
I just did a satellite search of this address and it doesnt look correct, more of a track home.
hello
is there anybody out there who knows how i can get in touch with howard dumble
or is there anybody who has information about him
thanks

is it me ?
It seems weird especially because mainly because the op was a total newbie.
Also, this was (and remains) his one and only post on this forum, and no personal information is in his profile. That smelled funny right off the bat.
Posting the info still doesn't seem right though.
