I just read Martin's bit on the rectifier. 5V4GA with JJ 6V6s would be sweet. I don't like any 5Y3s, NOS or otherwise. 5U4s are butt ugly (well, maybe the EH Russian one, if you have to.) GZ34 Mullard, well, different ballpark. You don't need that mutch juice.

I would so much appreciate if you could point me towards "Martin's bit on the rectifier" as I can't seem to find the discussion.
