Thanks xtian,

Great tolex work. Good "not a clone" looks!

Thanks TUBEDUDE,

Tolex is not so difficult to work if you have the right cutting tools and - most of all - the good glue (I use the TT SG-5 from tubetown.de).

Looks very nice. I like your use of digital reverb to save space.

Yes, Tone Lover. There is several reasons for the use of a digital reverb here are :
- the Holy Grail Nano EH is a very affordable and an excellent sounding device.
- the HGN is nearly a "ready to use" package, with the exception of the displaced reverb pot on the amp's panel, and it is easy to replace in case of failure.
- it is difficult to find short spring reverbs that have a good tone and good/long enough decay. It is even more difficult if you try to use a simplified single-tube reverb circuit.
- indeed I saved the space of the tube reverb drive and recovery circuits.
- the digital reverb is unsensitive to dangling, bumps, movements.
Very, very nice!!! I like the rail mounting.
Thanks dorrisant. You mean the turret board, I guess.

Oh, I should post some links to samples of the amp there :

No, I was referring to the pieces of what look like aluminum that you used to mount the chassis to the cab. Instead of the usual capture nuts on a flange.

Ah, OK. Yes, I don't have the adequate tooling to do flanges for capture nuts.
Nice job building these sweet little amps.

Thanks C Moore,

The name was given by a friend when he saw the tolexed cab : "it reminds me the Orient Express classy luggages and interiors", showing me this picture :

I design the graphics by myself with a free vectoriel design software (inkscape) which is compatible with the laser engraving machines of a local company specialized in signs and plates.

And yes, the Holy Grail Nano is a Reverb God's Gift :) ...
