Mismatch load on porpoise

Post by Reeltarded »

Virtual 6k8 on my 50. That stays!

What should I be aware of as far as bias? Anything? It's acting like it doesn't give a crap several weeks later. :)

Makes you wish there was a knob for that. I bet 5k6 is t3h destroyer.

Yeppers it is the real low one.

We had a shootout last night. This amp is high above all others. Way. What a pissed off face she has. A complete bitch.

This is the amp I have described in the Marshall section that's secret is a miniscule amount of blocking distortion if the second stage is dimed. 380 plate volts vs 417 on it's nearly identical twin.

A little bit of blocking there pretends to be the over the top straight plexi about to melt.. it takes the place of sag, favorably. Very.

Totally out of my comfort zone.

What about UL am I supposed to like?

I blamed it for the Fenders I haven't cared for and making my Majors too clean until the distortion is your ear drums.

:)

I mean

Otherwise you end up with an NFB loop inside an NFB loop, and that makes the baby buttjebus cry.
Exactly that's why the ul fenders sucked so much dishook the NFB and they are tolerable

Don't run a global NFB loop in addition to UL.
Sunn did pretty good with that configuration.

I don't know that I have ever played a UL amp without GNFB.

Hrmm maybe you are right. It would break all my common practices. I'd need new tricks.
