Yes correct. When the Mid Boost is engaged you should see zero ohms between those two points, indicating that the the relay has switched and the NO contacts are closed.  If it doesn't switch, you could try swapping in one of the other relays.

Still haven't had a chance to open up the amp to check. I do hear some difference now when I turn on the mid. It fattens the sound in a similar fashion to the "deep" switch.martin manning wrote:Yes correct. One thing that amazes me is how lucky I was to have built such a solid amp -- all with your help, of course. It has taken a daily bashing from being stacked, tossed, rolled about, bumped about going over curbs, and being moved in and out of vans and luggage compartments and it's still working just fine.

Good to hear, and how well it would do in that regard was something I wondered about. Good quality components and the ruggedness of eyelet board construction are contributors for sure, but credit is due for good soldering technique too.
