I've been cruising around on my new Triumph for two days now. I'm trying to get through the 500 mile break in by the end of the labor day weekend.
Triumph Bonneville's come in two flavors: the Bonneville and the fancier Bonneville T100. My new bike is a Bonneville and I traded in a 2007 T100.
The biggest difference between the two models is the wheels. The T100 has the traditional 19" front and 17" rear spoke wheels and bias-ply tires; 100/90-19 on the front and 130/80-17 on the rear.
The Bonneville has aluminum wheels, 17" front and rear. The tires are tubeless radial; 110/70 R17 front and 130/80 R17 rear.
I am surprised at how much difference the tires make. My new bike handles much better than my old T100. The steering is quicker and it is more nimble.

I rode Goldwings full-time for 25-years when I lived in southern Cali. When I moved to northern Cali five years ago, I traded in my license for an ID card. Mountain roads, gravel, lots of deer. Not to mention I am legally blind since birth. Okay, so I am a high-functioning, legally blind cat! 
Nonetheless, I am probably lucky to still be alive. I do miss it, though.

Man I have wanted a Ducati since I can remember.
Went through a few crotch rockets and eventually got scared of the road after a few mishaps.
But I always liked the lines and style of the Ducatis.
Plus a former employer had a 900 I think it was and he said it was scary fast.

New to riding, something my wife and I have always wanted to do, but for some reason the timing wasn't right. She'll be delivered on Tuesday, 2006 Heritage Deluxe. Looking forward to getting on the road. We both completed a motorcycle riding/safety course this weekend
