Amp Switcher

Post by dartanion »

Hey Folks,

Well, I think that I want to start using a variety of my amps for gigging, but want to be able to switch between multiple amps. I know guys like EJ have a box that allows him to switch between the various amps the have on stage. Anyone have a schematic for something like this. I'm not talking about a simple A/B/Y box, I'm talking about 8-12 amps. Not that I really need that, but it would be nice to be able to use more than just 2 amps on stage.

I have and really like the Voodoo Lab Amp Selector. Great product - extremely versatile, quiet, all the 'right' features. Only does up to 4 amps though (plenty for me).

You could check out http://www.radialeng.com/di-jd7.htm.

It does up to 7 amps. However, it doesn't have a footswitch so would only work if you did not need to change your setup mid-tune.

16 channel switcher

Hello,
Eminence speaker has a 16 channel switcher with footswitch for a dealers promo display of their speakers. You might be able to contact them and purchase one.

Is it meant for switching a guitar signal between amps or an amp speaker out between multiple speakers/cabs. I would think the design would be significantly different between those two options.
