Here's another question. When ordering replacement capacitors, I tried to replace the big paper capacitors with orange drops, but instead of 1mfd orange drops, I used these:

No, but you can find radial much cheaper, in general, because they're used far more often for PCB mounting. I've been finding creative ways to use radial caps in my turret board layouts.
It's also hard to find electrolytic caps with high temperature and reliability ratings like these Nichicon PW's in the axial configuration.
