Oh, I thought it was caps and Marshalls. However, Messy Boogers do remind me of another flightless bird this time of year that should also get the axe.

Hai!
I really liked the link to the YouTube video that lespaulplayer posted. However, what I didn't like was how all the settings on the amp were gone through before the next set of caps for comparison were played. This made me have to shuffle through to listen to one particular cap at a specific setting, compared to another cap at that same setting.
I downloaded the video, cut it apart and re-arranged them so they are one setting, three caps at that setting, then on to the next setting at each 3 caps, and so on. Much better.
It may even change your view, as it did mine. At first listen to the original vid, I prefered the OD's for their open-ness and clarity. Listening to them back to back like in my re-edited video, the OD's and the Mallory's are almost a tie... Man, the Mallory's are nice. Sozo is very muddy and smeary to me. I guess I know what it means when a cap "smears" the sound now, good to know.
That's just my opinion though! I didn't do any research into just how "Identical" these amps were aside from caps, but the experiment seemed legit enough for me to spend a little time re-editing the vid. Here's the link to the new re-edited version. Be well, my good (goofy) fellows!

Just as a comment, from experience, Sozo caps take a while to get past their infant tone, or in other words require some time to "break in."
I could say the same about speakers and preamp tubes such as the 12ax7.
This 100 hours on caps is an accepted Hi-Fi concept; it does apply to Guitar amps, too, for some brands of caps. I won't sell an amp without about 100 hours on for speakers tubes, and caps. Also, this policy prevents embarrassment from premature tube failures.
Thank you for the all the effort to make the caps comparison video, short term memory being what it is for A to B comparisons.
Best regards,
Steve

Well I ended up selling my VOX AC15, so I ordered the stuff for the JTM45 amp kit today. I ended up going with the Mallory 150 caps. I'm so stoked! This is going to be my first build. I will start a build thread once I get this build going!

Congrats hope it is what you are looking for!
Getting back to the caps for a moment,
When I was researching Dumble amps I came to realize that Alexander Dumble chose to use the 6PS style polyester coupling caps.
He could have chosen from a few different ones at the time, such as Mallory 150's or any other brand or composite.
So for that type of amp, I try to stay faithful although I have experimented with different caps at different times.
Even though Marshall started out as copies of the Fender Bassman, they used what was available in the UK, mainly the mustards which I don't know much about.
