Comet eating a porcupine
ISON was a dud, until yesterday that is.
The outburst as it approches the Sun has it doubling in magnitude in the blink of an eye.
If you are awake with a clear eastern sky at around 5:15AM until sunrise for the next few days you will see a very interesting tailed emerald dot pop over the horizon and remain visible til almost sunrise.
The very most interestingest thing of all is while you are watching (around 18 minutes later) you suddenly see Mercury appear as if a bright star. Look near Mercury but slightly up and left.
Comet Encke. Nearly as bright as ISON but deeper in the daylight demarcation. 2 comets and a hard to find planet not enough? Saturn will be in the same frame soon. Pretty neat to look at.
If ISON survives it's dive into the Sun the tail will precede it in the northern sky through the first week of January with it's closest approach to Earth being around 39M miles around the middle of December. It could be a show that rivals comet Hale after all. Anyone remember the big flying V? That one was good.

Yeah rub it in.
You can go out and look at the sky at night.
Without your nads freezing off.
Must be tough missing all the seasonal weather we get in the north.
Anyway - how is life ?
The correct answer is "Leif is in Sweden" (Funny in Norwegian)
And does it have to be a porcupine ?
Or will anything with prickly bits suffice.
A Spiky Norman maybe.
And I don't like pumpkins or full daipers.
Or insomnia.
Lots of things I don't like.
Might need another list...
This one might max out the server.

I shouldn't have had that 5 scoop cup of coffee at 5pm.
Probably shouldn't drink more now, the point of mostly no return.

Mold most likely. We get it up here too. Makes those warm fall & spring days much less pleasant than they should be.cbass wrote:Its been to cloudy here 75 but cloudy a few days ago it was 14.my sinuses are s crewed
Dust mask and/or Antihistamine pills.
Spike helmet optional. Not recommended for wearing in a lightning storm.

My Spiky Norman looked like this.
He was in charge of pest control in my garden & greenhouse.
Kinda like a bouncer who eats bad guys.
Someone let him out.
I still suspect foul play.
