Finally Cleaned up my Shop

Post by David Root »

After four years, this is as well organized as it's likely to get. It had got to the point where I had trouble finding stuff.

So I thought I'd post a pic for posterity!

Very cool David - must be nice.
I'm seriously embarrassed about the state of mine.
I lose stuff & find stuff constantly.
Elephants , a herd of wildebeast & such.
Must tidy up !
Tomorrow.
Probably.
Oh Well.

Take heart Bob! I "lost" two UTC 0-1 mic transformers I'd had for a couple of years. They turned up about a month ago and now I can't remember where I put them "so I could always find them".

Xtian, the "computer" is a 'scope on its edge. I must admit I need to learn how to use it properly, I can't even get it to display both x and y baselines.

Gotcha. That said, I couldn't imagine working on amps without a computer handy.

I put my schematics (in pdf form) in a dropbox folder on my desktop computer. Then I can just take the iPad into the shop.

Of course not! if you use it like that the wave will run out on the floor!

Very nice looking space there. I might disappear for days at a time...

Wow, a window, and what a window!

Is that a gigunda drill press or a mill back in the corner?

Get rid of the clock. You don't need to know what time it is. You'll get more amp building done without a clock. Besides, I can see you are waffling on it. It's not hanging, just sitting there.

That's a front for a moonshine operation...I can see the evidence on the back shelf.

This thread inspired me to spend almost $100 on feeling like i fixed thespace up.

I have not!
