Still chokes me up.

Post by Buschman »

I have not listened to The Rising in a long time. I love the album but it sure stirs emotions. The History channels program on 9/11 didn't help. It is a sad world sometimes. I balled my eyes out again to this song. I felt so much sadness for the loss and the horror the victims endured.

I live in the Boston area.
The planes flew from here on 9/11.
260 local victims.
That remembrance, combined with the freshness of the wounds from the Marathon bombing this year made for a somber day.

911

Post by ampmike »

When 911 happened I trimmed new homes for a pocono builder,90 percent of the customers were from NYC.they would come see there new homes and were crying about the devastation.Even the smell of death was there.Everyone wanted to get out of the city and feared it would never recover. They were some horrific times here. Its a day that everyone can tell you where they were when that happened,Mikey
