1970's Ampegs

Post by dreric »

I'm doing some rehab on my mid 70's VT40s. Both have these weird white things in the back of the cabinet; anyone know what they are for?

I've seen them on most Ampegs from this era.

Thanks

Those are cable clamps, but whether that is what Ampeg was intending for them I don't know.

I always thought the same but I've never been able to find a practical use for them.
