Let me introduce myself

Post by donzoid »

Hello all!
I've been lurking this forum for about 6 months now because I want to learn "just enough to be dangerous" about my tube amps. I've been playing the same three Marshall heads (plus experimenting with many others) for about 35 years on guitar, and do almost all of the work on my guitars, so I thought I wanted to learn more about the electronics side of things.

This forum has been a real God send for me. You guys are all way ahead, and so I have learned a LOT. Last year I built my first project....a simple little buffer pedal. Then three months ago, I built an Airbrake (without bedroom) off the BOM in the Trainwreck section of this forum. It's awesome! I'm going to take some pix as I used my old Altair PW5 box to build it. In fact I still have two working Altairs but I'm going to convert another one when funds permit.

Anyway I just wanted to thank all of you for your work on creating this "fountain" of great information I have used already. Now, after having an issue at our last gig with my JMP 50, I am going to post my first question in the tech forum. This site ROCKS!

Looking forward to learning...then contributing!

Welcom Don!

There is a Marshall section but the Technical section is good as well.
