Funk, nice thing you are doing! :D I'll take a set. As someone who does runs of chassis now and again for my forum friends, I can tell you he isn't making much on this! The 1/8" aluminum chassis, like my komet ones, are the best chassis made for amps! Solid as a rock and better conductor than steel. Thanks for doing this Funk! :D

Brandon,
... as per my email to you, I'd like a set of the PCBs, Pre Board, and Chassis. I, for one, appreciate fully all your hard work in putting this project together and will gladly pay the $200 or so to get what is, DEFINITELY, a fine starting point to put together what will easily be the crown jewel in my stable of homebrew amps. I prefer the stress relief power cord setup, as I too have a bunch of stress reliefs, and never want to worry about showing up to a gig and realizing I left the power cord on the kitchen table when I was rummaging in the gig bag for something before heading out for the gig, and forgot to toss it back in (thank God for Radio Shack!)... and yes, I did feel like a bonehead!

I will say that this is going to be a definite source of apprehension and worry about whether I can pull off a build of this complexity, since it contains components and features I've never dealt with. But, as this forum for the TWrecks and Dumbles has shown me time and again, any problems I encounter will probably have many of you fine gentlemen offering assistance should I need it. So... what the hell, I'll take the plunge! I'm in no hurry, and will be happy to wait until you can get 'em done at whatever pace allows you to keep your sanity. Thanks... Shawn

I'm in for complete set with PCB's. I'm new to some terminalogy, can you explain transformer configurations. Lay down etc.? I have a power tranny like Fender and a Dynaco OPT 50 watter ?

Ok, I'm down for a set with the PCBs, how do you like your payment, and at what point do you need it?

I'll take a set with punched Garolite.

As a practicing electrical engineer, let me assure you that to build something of this quality in small quantities would be cost prohibitive. I just placed a PO at work for a small punched and bent steel cover about the size of a Fender cap can and in the small quantities I am buying they will cost more than the what our gracious friend is offering. No powerder coat, no screen print, just bent metal.

I've built too many projects on the cheap in Hammond boxes and I for one am greatful for the hard work Funk has done to facilitate professional quality at a quite modest price.

If you don't want one PLEASE don't buy one, but why are you posting your opinion on the quality of these products when what you are talking about is clearly inferior??

I'm in Funk. Punched garolite with sheetmetal and strain relief. I promise I'll be patient, I promise I'll be patient, I promise I'll be patient.

How we coming on the G12-65s?

Now, the Punched G-10 setup will only have the mounting holes punched on all boards but the Preamp board. I have a few sets of the Copper clad left as well for whoever is interested in etching their own PCB's.

What size is the PT opening? What are the measurements between the PT studs?

Thanks.
