Hey folks,
Have been thinking of trying to get my EVJ head into a 18watt style combo and was thinking about doing a tube up bottom mount for the chassis with a separate plate up top for input, volume and tone.
I've never done anything like this and am concerned about the amount of noise the run of the wire and possibly the speaker may introduce - is there a reason why I wouldn't want to try this?
Thanks!

Run co-ax to and from your panel and it should be good.
I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com

That's great - I would never have thought of that but did recently see a friend using the co-ax cable on a dumble build - awesome idea - thanks!
