All my voltage look about perfect on my build except for the cathode on the PI.
My voltages are 200v/200v on the two plates, 25v on the grids, and 35v on the cathode. I noticed on the voltage chart that the catode voltage should be about 42v. dosent seem like much but with such a small about of voltage, the 8 volts maye have the tube a bit out of bias.
One thing with this amp is that it seems like it sould have more gain, could it be the drive of the PI into the power tubes because of this low voltage?
I do have a 150k resistor between the 2nd and 3rd stage.
Has anyone ever tired a 220k on the plate of the first stage to brown it and raise the gain?

Re: Low cathode voltage on Express PI tube
Could just be the tube. I've had the same scenario where most voltages are right and just the cathode voltage is up. Try rolling a few and see.
