I gutted a Crate V18.
I am attempting to build a Xits-10 (more or less) into the chassis.
I am wondering the "best" place to put the Cat resistor/cap.

Right now it is located between the (2x 220) and (2x 2k2) resistors. The by-pass cap is on the turret board, but not the cat resistor.
If I use the current location, I will have to route the cat wires between the wires (black and green) for the OT and the wires (orange) for the Power Tube screens.
Is that likely to be a problem.?
I could also pull the wires underneath the board, and bring them out between the Orange grid wires and the Brn/Blu Plate wires. Then up to Pin 3.
I guess my real question is what should you try to keep the cat wires isolated from when you "design" a layout.?
Thank You
