This is a Tru Ohm 225R that I rescued from a bone pile chassis. It is approximately 1" long x 5/16" diameter. There is a 3/16" hole down the middle. I am hoping it is 10W rated, but suspect it is 5W. I would be happy to use it if it is 7W or 8W. It is intended for a 5B6 for the power tube cathodes.
Anyone know the rating?
I went to the bone pile because the cement resistor I've got is too wide for the board. I will remove a turret or two and employ a terminal strip if must. I'm looking for another solution.
Thanks.

Phil, it's 8 watts.

OK then, Thanks!
I think that will work. I'll hope 225R will not be too hot, as the design calls for 250R.
Meanwhile, I started to think vertical and realized I can mount that cement bad boy by putting the leads in the top of the turret. I tend to avoid thinking about that because it can be difficult to desolder something from the hole in the turret.

Re: Wattage rating of this resistor?
You mean use it like I did on a low voltage Rocket
