Decided to take a break from Dumble builds and complete this Express
project that's been sitting in the corner.
RJ chassis & boards
Pacific PT
Toneslut 6.6K OT
Piher CF resistors, RIFA Peg124 on cathodes, BC-Vishay cap bank
Mallory PVC caps
Raytheon JAN CRS 6V6GT
National Electronic (Hungary) 12AX7A
Sovtek 12AX7 LPS balanced
AmpMike is agreed to make me a Cherry cab and I'll install the faceplate Sellout made for me last year.
I don't think I'm going to glue the cap bank together. I think I'm going to make some form of a skeleton mount to secure all the caps.

Can't wait to see the cap stack. And please let me know what changes you make to accomodate the 6V6 pair.

Re: 6V6 Express Build In Progress
The only deviation I've made is at the bias resistor, changed the 220K to 180K(measures 188k). Other than possibly tweaking the GNFB, no other plans for just the 6V6.xtian wrote:Can't wait to see the cap stack. And please let me know what changes you make to accomodate the 6V6 pair.
These BC caps are much smaller than most with the 22 & 33uF's being only 1.200" in length. Mounting these smaller caps the traditional method just seems so impractical to me. By chance these 33uF's measure, 40, 39.5 and 38.5uF.
