Geez.. that IS low fi.

I don't know that I can tell the difference between a 6L6 and 6V6 from this. Can you describe what you're hearing?

its squishing more than with 6V6. the super hard attack of a 6L6 is missing. 6V6 hits hard, dont get me wrong.

def lo-fi, but good amp. ]

Excellent description of my 6V6 amp. Very cool squishyness going on especally when you push the clean channel hard.

The lead clip kills! 8)

What pickup u got for the first clip?
What type and number of speakers are you using?
Any effects on the clip? If so, what?

Norm, what Iron are you using in this 6v6 monster? Sounds great. I have been thinking about this configuration for a while. May do one of these myself.

Norm, Sound's like a "Another Winner"
Your ahead of the Class, LOL !
I just got my 100 watt Chassie last week and a i have a Power Tranny for 4 X 6V6, i got most of the part's for the board but i got to find an output Transformer for my project.
listening to your's will get me off my deadbeat , can't wait to hear some more clip's of it, would love to see you do a speaker test with it, interested in what 2 X 12 in. speaker's would sound like, or 1 X 15 ?
anyway, you got the Bull by the Horn, Sound's very interesting, like the 6V6's alot, the 6L6's sounded good also !

Thanks for all the comments guys. :D

The amp is much punchier than my previous D'Lite builds, but I don't know if it's the 4x6V6 config or the HRM circuit. When I get some time I guess I need to do some tube pulling/swapping and see what's doing what. So far, all I can say is "I love this amp!"

Moss may record some clips with the amp this weekend so you can get a better idea of what it sounds like.
