So I stared at the paper like those 14 dots that represented my 6-position switch were going to lace themselves up in some way that might even explain the missing baryonic matter that the scientists hadn't even discovered they didn't know about yet.. I stared for hours, back and forth between the paper and my mounted chassis as if it would dawn on me at some p...
AND THEN IT DID! I know what to do!!!
So I played connect the dots while the iron was heating. I took the amp apart and stripped the switch down. I cut a couple pieces of wire and away I went!!
Heck yeah! So simple!!
... that it didn't work LMAO!
Ever have one of those moments? Love that. Totally laughed myself into convulsions then went to bed. If I can laugh, I can laugh hardest at me. I am one silly goofball.
Thing is, I know the hookup is right, I probably soldered to a wrong thingy with the doohickeymajigger thing. I was just trying to simply switch out a middle stage. hahah

Switches confound the dickens out of me like nothing else ..... except relays ...... which triple-confound the double-dickens out of me like nothing else ............... except women ...... and that confounding (I affectionately call the Ultimate Confoundation) is completely off the charts (which is to say there are NO schematics and NO diagrams and definitely NO layouts).
Hope you get your switch sussed out and working.

Re: You're eeka.
I have tons of schematics people drew for me when I was trying to understand how women work. I get it all the way until the junction terminations between the infinite-pole switches and the crossovers between the time-variable relays.
I just wire the B+ straight to the input jack. Saves the expectation for more reasonable things, like predicting quantum super-position with only the fingers on your hands. I chopped all my fingers except the middle ones off.
It worked first thing.. after swapping the feed with the output.
just like I knew it would. haha

I hate switches! Simplest thing in the world until you want to wire one up.

Switches? I can't even get three terminal pots right. I'm just going to start labeling things different:
Treble Boost
Middle Boost
Bass Cut.
