Well, after jamming on this a bit over the weekend, I have to say I'm pretty impressed. From the descriptions I've seen, I knew I would be getting some nice clean chime, but I wasn't aware just how much growl I could get from it. I went into this build with zero knowledge of how it would sound; I've never even pulled up clips on the Rocket. I don't know if this is anything close to what a real 'wreck sounds like, but I don't care! I'm in love! The VVR is a godsend - Thanks Dana! I can't believe I have an amp that sounds as good whether I'm chicken pickin' or playing AC/DC. I'm really surprised. Thanks to everyone here for making this build possible!
