I'm halfway through my first d-clone (SF bassman rebuild) and after much nail biting, I've decided to take the plunge and try and build it with footswitchable OD and PAB. Now, I know that this topic has been covered in other threads (which I have read), but at the risk of causing further discomfort to a horse that is already been beaten to within inchs of his life, I'd like to ask for clarification on two quick things:
1) I've already purchased a 12v transformer from my local Radio Shack and mounted it comfortably in the chassis (fits perfectly). Now, if I go the way the big man did and use a rectifier/doubler circut, do I use the center-tap and a secondary wire and leace the other secondary alone? Or do I use both secondaies and leave the center-tap ungrounded?
2) If it's the former of the previous 2, would it be possible to wire the 2 secondaries in the following fashion with 12 volt relays: https://tubeamparchive.com/download/file.php?id=896
as seen on another post here, but lifted from ground?
Thanks in advance. Please excuse my ignorance if this is obvious stuff. I'm primarily a musician and the most electronics experience I had before I started messing with amps was in my high-school physics class.

Re: Relay Wiring after a long day
If you bought a 12V transformer you can disregard the black center tap wire and use the two yellow ones going to a bridge rectifier as on the diagram you showed. I did the same thing, except I used the 7812 and 12V LEDs. Radio Shack had 3 different colors of 12V LEDs (which I needed), all with the resistor built in. I'm switching PAB, OD, and mid-voice.

Thanks so much for the reply. I had a hunch, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't making stuff up. I greatly appreciate the help.
