Hi Everyone,
I wonder if someone would be so kind as to enlighten me on these two acronyms. I see both of them used quite a bit here.
CE chassis: Most threads that mention this chassis seem to infer it is pre-punched. The only source that comes to mind is CE Distribution, though I have looked at all the chassis boxes they sell, and they are just the standard-fare Hammond, un-punched.
MC Iron. Who is this? I imagine Mercury Magnetics would be referred to as MM.
Many thanks,
Lou
PS, I apologize as I am still trying to learn the "lingo" of this forum.

Thank you both, Deric and Bob - I appreciate it.
That chassis looks really nice - would I be correct in assuming the head cab from Amplified Nation is a good fit?
Thanks again,
Lou

Re: CE and MC ?
I have a silverface CE chassis just waiting to go for a Dumble build. It is made to a very high standard.
MM can be Mercury Magnetics, which I have in my AB763 and also highly recommend.
It can also mean MusicMan in the Dumble world, when MM transformers are used.
At least its not confusing
If you are after a quality cab, then Taylor and Amplified Nation will not disappoint you. I buy some materials from him and he looks after his customers very well. I can probably find them in the UK but I like dealing with a great guy who is a TAG member
