Hey guys,What do you all think about Tophat amps.They seem to be reasonable on Ebay.I know they are all true Pt. to Pt.Im thinking of getting rid of my Diaz and trying to replace it with a small 1x12 combo with reverb.
The TH"s dont seem to move very fast on Ebay,Anybody have any favs or coments after playing one,Thanks

I don't like the combos, but I adore the Emplex. The combos sound stiff to my fingers, and the Emplex sounds softer than the edges on a baby spoon.
My friend has an Emplex and a Club Royale. The CR needs a little power upgrade to keep up with a snare, and not be buried in swamped sag, which mates oddly with the stiffness.
My opinions! Some people think 1w amps are loud and Clapton is God.
He makes great amps, just a little stange.
