This weekend, I found a Peavey MX Flite Case head to use as a donor. Before gutting it, though, I played through it for a while.
It sounds pretty good - nice saturation, great sustain, controllable feedback, and only a few seconds twiddling to get there. This is a solid state preamp? Really?
Have to locate a schematic so I can make a footswitch so I can check out the cleans, but so far, this doesn't suck.
(P90, double TL806 with unknown speakers)
What'm I gonna do? I had in mind a a BlueSky Classic with D'lator (LowPlate Classic w/ BM OD+Skyliner and BM PI/Power Section) ... assuming I remembered my terminology right.

hahahaha I don't NOT like those a little bit.
Great cleans, btw. When you say saturation, you really mean it this time! Says so right there on the box.

I went to Chicago a couple years ago and took a 3 day amp class with my boy.One night my wife and I went out to see a real Blues Band.I forget the name of the guy but this 3 pc. band was the real deal. They were motown,R&b blues and he was playing through a ss marshall or hybrid deal and was SMOKIN.Some guys can make anything sound awesome. He asked me to come up and play while he was going to go outside and
take a break.I chickened out.I took off out the door the place was packed. Before I die I gotta go back one day and play. What was this thread about?Sorry Im on my third cup and buzzing this morning,Mikey To sum it up a good set of hands can make anythang sound sweet!!!!!
