I was at an outdoor show today to see Deep Sea Diver. The bass player sounded fantastic, and when I saw what he was playing through, I thought it must be a joke and he had another rig hidden off-stage.
But it was this tiny Ampeg Micro VR with a 2x10 cabinet. I still can't believe how good it sounded. Yes, he was miked, but still, it just sounded huge.
Anyone played one of these? It is seriously an amazing little bass amp.
