What type of Switch?

Hi all,
I'm currently building the D-lite. This is my first build so I'm always second guessing myself. I have some spst 2 pole toggle switches. The switch used for "standby" is a spst? If so when in "standy" should the switch be off or on?

When this switch is off the heaters still function and the tubes are warmed up and ready but there is no high voltage hence the name StandBy.
