My Muleshall gutshot (for a decent giggle)
I wish I could post pictures from iCrap. Oh! I can.. with an app..
It's the best sounding amp I have ever played. Plexi and cascade channels, PPIMV and Jose style master with 12v zeners, variable slope, plus the awesome and very worthy Martinizer instead od presence. It's loaded with 6ca7s I got from Steve @ ApexJr, and A couple recent JJs with a Tesla for PI.
I am not rebuilding it. It sounds too good, and I have many Marshalls to build!
Thanks for all the help and advice. Look at that mess!

And an outside shot with Max

Nice, tidy build. You put some effort in. It sounds as if you got a nice dividend in the payoff. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

I was going to goop it with Elmer's and glitter, but it didn't work out well in my old mule, an original Dumble that I modded into a Rocket with original components from an Express prototype built on a tweed Twin chassis.

Yeah there probably is some mojo in the purple glitter, what do they call that bedazzled or something like that...

I was waiting for somone to suggest gooping. The glitter would work great, but you have to use vintage glitter. The new Chinese glitter that is on the street these days does not have the same Mojo. Something to do with crystal lattices.Reeltarded wrote:I was going to goop it with Elmer's and glitter, but it didn't work out well in my old mule, an original Dumble that I modded into a Rocket with original components from an Express prototype built on a tweed Twin chassis.

Here is an ipad video of what happened to the mule since Colossal said all the right things.
The volume is like AM radio to fall asleep to. When it's VERY LOUD it sounds about the same. I can't believe the lowend this monkey flings. Compressed twice for size, not hifi, but you get it.
The World's Tallest Marshall Thing. Fear me. lol Click the pic I think. My first interweb video. I need a strap.
Sloppy Noodles

I thought you were supposed to start with a twin reverb and move one wire for that.Reeltarded wrote:I was going to goop it with Elmer's and glitter, but it didn't work out well in my old mule, an original Dumble that I modded into a Rocket with original components from an Express prototype built on a tweed Twin chassis.
Nice work and great chops.

I love this amp! Too excited to finish up the others, actually spending a little time playing it.. I never thought the tweaking was going to end. Like groundhog day, but not funny.

Yeah, the good news is that it sounds as your chops have not suffered....
My chops on the other hand never developed, too much time holding a soldering iron and building
Now I'm too old and would rather drink a beer and listen...
