Got around to tweaking a 124 classic I built a while back
have the FET on a relay...using this layout

thanks jborders5
no voltage to pedal side of relay, changed out diode and relay
need to check the pedal wiring...
any comments are appreciated

Hi Darin, I just completed the same mod a few days ago and it worked flawlessly, so do check your wiring.

If you have any specific questions, I will be glad to try to answer them.

Thanks to jborders5 also!

All the best.

Congrats Daring, thanks for the update.

Nice thing about mistakes is that you learn from them. I have built more than a dozen amps and/or preamps and most of them have had one or two mistakes. I just make sure the voltage lines and electrolytics are placed correctly, not good to fry something.

Enjoy your mod!
