What size choke for 183 build?

Post by markmalin »

Hi guys,

Just wondering what size choke to use for a 183 build. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see any info ...

Thanks
Mark.

Really 90mA, seems a bit low.

FWIW I'm only building a 50W version (2 EL34's)

O right, I got mixed up.

I think the smaller Fenders used 40mA or 50mA.

I gotto look for specs regarding those smaller Fender chokes but the 2x6L6 VibroluxReverb does use the same (small) one as the 2x6V6 DeluxeReverb.

The same choke (22699) was used in 50W Dumbles too, HAD took the lead from 40/50W Fenders( such as Pro Reverb) that used the same choke as the Twin.
