Aha.. so I did find a similar thing, because there are only so many ways to skin a cat with two stones, a jigsaw, and a feathered hat band.

It's not a problem... err, the problem.

As soon as the neighbors are awake I am going to start furiously swapping pots on all my amps to find the ones that work best in that particular amp.. just after I swap every resistor, tube, capacitor, jack, transformer, knob, and faceplate.

Yep. I haven't stopped since umm.. Saturday, except to read more about circuits.

I am toast though. Can hardly wait til bedtime tonight. Sick with it.

The first sign of chasing the tone dragon is staying up all night tweaking the amp. I have been there many nights in the workshop. The second sign more serious............it's when you go to bed but get up again because an idea has come to mind and you have to try it out on the amp.

We need a support group

The biggest problem is that thinking about it is actually starting to work. I need sleepytime pills.
