regarding the voltage, It looks like the real article is rectified HALF wave, but then he also uses a 1N4007 to ground in a voltage doubler arrangement, I'm not sure what the math is to figure out vdc with a "Half-wave-bridge?" arrangement.

For you My friend the world!! Chris, I don't know if you remember me, but I think we met at the NAMM show 2 years ago, I was by the Mesa Booth with Gil and Bill Morgan, I think we all took a picture together.

Yes, I do believe I remember meeting you briefly at NAMM! I need to ask Gil if he's got that picture saved somewhere...

Great work on sourcing these xformers, btw! It's something I've always wanted to get my hands on. :)

Yes, finally. Better late than never? Well, my Xmas lights are still up on the house, so perhaps one can see a pattern here? Hmmm.

Well, I've tried that approach, but with all the rain up here, the paint actually washes off the bulbs!

It's my pleasure, I just took the specs off a Dumbleator and made a phone call, no biggie.

I'm having them send a sample piece to make sure on the size before I pull the trigger on 25pcs, I'll post pics as soon as it's in my hands

Ah, but *that's* the hard part: getting a Dumbleator in the first place! I take it, you have one (or know someone who does)? I've never seen one in person, alas.

I got the sample today and it seems to be the right size, I compared it to a hammond 1sp rack that I bought and it seems to be the correct height.

I should have the rest in 10-14 days, they are $30 plus S&H to me, and then to you.
