Choke on Dlite

Post by angelodp »

What is the correct choke to go on the Dlite 22/33 builds. Tom didn't you do it with a switch to go between the resistor or choke. is it the Triode 4H 50ma?

I used this one Ange.

It is a very subtle difference so not much gained with it.

What choke resistor do you have in yours at this time?

I liked a 330R

It seemed to me as if the notes were livelier and kind of jumped out of the amp when I replace the resistor with a choke in my D'Lite. I used the MC Fender Deluxe choke in my amp running 6V6's.

Yes, you will probably get less sag effect by using a choke.

But whether the difference is worth $20 is another question.
