Does anyone have a schematic of an ODS with a cathode follower... and further comments on a cathode follower in an ODS?

RJ,
I converted the overdrive stages of my HRM amp into a std Marshall style cathode follower with HRM stack. The Overdrive pot (1M) regulated the amount of signal fed into the CF. The result was that the gain dropped and the sound changed very much towards......Marshall! I didn't teak the plate/cathode resistors....
It was not what I was looking for so I converted it back. But it didn't sound bad!
I'm sure others must have tried this too

Thanks Jelle... I'm just curious what that Dumble preamp sounds like when you mate it up to other power sections and such... In your case it sounds like things are dominated by the output section... I appreciate your input.

I've seen a couple feelers out there looking for info on Single ended outputs with a Dumble preamp circuit, does anyone have a test case to share?
