another #124 question

Post by echo44 »

I notice on the back there is a 50-10watt switch
I notice on many of the build I have looked at on
these pages the switch is absent. Was the switch true
to the original. Is there a disadvantage to having the switch.
It looks like a dpdt what does the switch have to be rated
voltage wise?

Thanks
I have started the build tonight.

#124 was a 100w amp. There was a half power switch on the real amp, a switch and an LED were on the back of the chassis.

Pics of the original chassis are Here:

No disadvantage to having the switch. It just turns two tubes off. You will get earlier breakup, but not a huge drop in volume
