Anyone out there have a schematic for Richie Hall's improved Trem 18 Watt. Found several layout posting but not much in the way of schematics.
Much appreciated-

Go to 18 Watt community
http://www.18watt.com/index.php
Under Downloads you will find "original schematics"
Look there for the schematic

Hey, you know I hate to complain but the 18watter site is so machine automated that there is nobody to talk to when you need help. Case in point, it tells me I do not have a valid email address when in fact I do. So I cannot register or view any of the downloads. It's a PITA.
So who runs the site and do you have someone to contact via email? Oh wait, it seems they are shutdown right now....
In the meantime, why not post the schematic info here? Thanks. Meanwhile, this attached PDF file seems really well done.

I'm an infrequent member there. Not sure about their feelings about their tweaked schematics on other forums, so to be safe and courteous:- If someone wants the schem I can send it to them by email
I think a dude called Zaphod Phil is the moderator
Nice guy and an experienced builder

All you really is Richies "Improved" layout and the original schematic. The only difference between Richies and the original is 3 component values(all pertaining to the oscillator circuit ), one of them he changed a 2MA pot to a 1MB, most likely because a 2MA is not commonly found.PW wrote:Anyone out there have a schematic for Richie Hall's improved Trem 18 Watt. What really makes his version "improved" is the addition of shielded cable in 3 locations, relocation of the buss bar off the rear of the pots and removal of excess wire length.
When I built my Trem 18, I took mine a step further and eliminated all the flying resistors and capacitors, mounted an HT fuse on board and each power tube has a dedicated screen resistor. I did shield the inputs to the first stage, but felt that shielding on the oscillator circuit was not needed.
